Bad boy of Kollywood

shimbuChennai: Kollywood is abuzz with rumours that Simbu has not been too cooperative recently. According to the grapevine, he was initially upset that Osthe, which had been nearing completion in a straight 95-day schedule and was to be a Diwali release, was pushed because of two other big releases.

Apparently, he refused to shoot the remaining portions of the film, which included a song for the Dabangg remake. The Osthe unit had headed out recently to the Middle East to complete the song.

“When the team went to Muscat, Simbu allegedly refused to step out of his room for two days for the shoot. The team then apparently shifted to Dubai, where they started shooting the song. Actor Richa Gangopadhyay, who plays Sonakshi’s role in the flick, said on her networking page that they were busy shooting in a mall in Dubai for the film,” says a source.

The team then rushed back to Chennai for the audio launch last week and sources said they were set to go back to Dubai to complete the song shoot. But now, we hear that the song will be completed in Bangalore. However, when a yellow tabloid  quizzed the puzzled director Dharani about these rumours of Simbu being difficult, he denied them saying, “Everything is hunky dory.”
