Dam’s joint control decision taken without consultation: VS

vs-achuthanandanThiruvananthapuram: Chief Ministers decision on the joint control of the proposed new dam  was taken without consultations with other members or parties, said Opposition leader VS Achuthananthan. According to him the decision of Mr Ooomen Chandy was against the interest and wants of the people.  The government has decided to call for global tenders in the Kochi metro rail project. This decision has been made only to remove E Sreedharan from the project, he opined.

The ruling has quoted technical difficulties only to side track E Sreedharan from the project, he added. According to him the state wants to include Japan in the Kochi metro rail project and they are not keen on the State- Centre tie up. Even the decision regarding the metro rail project was taken without consultations with other parties.
