Hot Amala Paul spices up Kollywod

Amala PaulThe hot, sexy, dusky Malayalee beauty with dark gorgeous hair and seductive eyes has made many a hearts do triple jumps and shift to top gear. The 20 year old girl whose recent make over seems to have caught a lot of people off guard has received immense admiration from even her colleagues in the film industry. After completing her plus two from Nirmala Higher Secondary School, Aluva, she took a year’s sabbatical to follow her heart and pursue modeling. Lal Jose’s expert eyes picked her up and cast her in her debut film ‘Neelathaamara’ in 2009.

The daughter of Paul Varghese and Annice Paul thus metamorphosed from a simple ordinary girl to a “star” and began living a life that every one craves for. Her father had been strictly against Amala pursuing an acting career, but was forced to accept her decision with her older brother, Abijith, strongly backing her ambition.

Amala is said to have pursued a BA degree in English from St Teresas, Eranakulam. Amala had changed her on-screen name to Anakha, on director Hari’s insistence. However after the failure of Sindhu Samaveli which drew a lot of flak from the press, critics, film-goers in general and women in particular for portraying the role of a daughter-in-law who has sexual relation with her father-in-law, she reverted back to her original name. She has finally put her past behind her and wants to forget the film.

Prabhu Solomon’s ‘Mynaa’ gave her the big break that she was craving for. The Kerala born actress is now following in the footsteps of Oorvasi, Revathi, Asin, Gopika, Bhavana & Meera Jasmine. As per her facebook fanpage some of her favourites are:

Flowers: Red roses
Colours: Yellow ,White and black
Author: Sidney Sheldon
Heroines: Jyothika, Tabu and Nandita das, Namitha
Hero: super star Rajinikanth,Sarath Kumar and Vijaykanth

The new face in the Tamil film industry has many a roles in her kitty and is creating ripples. As per the grapevine she would perfectly fit into the Nayanthara’s shoes who is soon to  marry Prabhudeva.
