Ice cream palour sex scandal case: Former AG to be interrogated

investigationThiruvananthapuram:Special Investigation team will interrogate former Advocate General M K Damodaran in the wake of his alleged involvement in the sensational ice cream parlour sex scandal case in Kozhikode.The probe team would also question former additional Advocate General VK Beeran and Government pleader Anil Thomas.The team intends to complete all interrogation by next week.

KA Rauf during an in-camera trail as per rule 164, had informed the Kozhikode first class judicial magistrate Court that Kunhalikutty had influenced the Judges and the AG to sabotage the case. The affidavit has been considered by the court as an irrevocable statement. As per the statement made by Rauf, Kerala Minister, Kunhalikutty had bribed Advocate General M K Damodaran into giving a statement in favour of him. Kunhallikutty is said to have given 32 lakh’s as bribe.15 lakhs was given to them through Rauf and 17 lakhs was deposited in an SBI account. After which M K Damodaran removed him from the list of accused.

Anil Thomas is alleged to have rejected the plea for CBI inquiry. The verdict is said to have arrived at Le Meridian hotel, Eranakulam.  The interrogation is being done on the basis of the statement provided by KA Rauf, co-brother of State industries Minister PK Kunhalikutty. The probe team would also question former additional Advocate General VK Beeran and Government pleader Anil Thomas. Additional Advocate General, VK Beeran is said to have handed over the verdict to Justice Thangappan.
