Indian Bank launches e-Treasury

indian-bankChennai: Public sector Indian Bank launched e-Treasury combining the domestic and foreign exchange trading on a common software package.

Indian Bank Chairman and Managing Director, T M Bhasin launched the new service at the newly constructed Corporate office at Chennai. The common software package analyses profitability, risk and costing aspects through different markets. Bhasin also unveiled the new building constructed at a cost of Rs 70 crore and said all departments of the bank has been moved from the older office to new corporate building.

Talking to reporters here, he said the new building was built in ‘trilobular shape’ resembling the logo of the bank. They had applied for Green Building certification.”The formal launch of the corporate building would be done at a later date.”, he said. Provisions like solar water heater,water cooler air-conditioning system, sewage treatment plant and a rainwater harvesting system are also provided in the new building, he said.
