Assembly dismissed for the day, MLA’s suspension revoked

T V Rajesh and James Mathew suspension Thiruvananthapuram: The turbulent Legislative Assembly has been dismissed for the day. The Opposition was unwilling to call off their satyagraha which began yesterday evening in the wake of the suspension of the two CPIM MLA’s, TV Rajesh and James Mathew from the House for two days for indisciplinary behavior.  In the given situation the speaker was forced to cancel the question hour and zero hour for the day.  After completing the procedure for the day the Speaker, G Karthikeyan declared the house to be dismissed for the day.

The speaker informed that as the assembly was dismissed for the day, the two day suspension of the two MLA’s has been withdrawn.TV Rajesh and James Mathew who were suspended yesterday left the hall today morning. Yesterday while the assembly was in session MLA K P Mohanan raised his leg and placed it on the table. Speaker stated that as he apologized for his action no disciplinary action would be taken against him. Yesterday CPIM District Secretary, Kadakkampalli Surendran apologized to the speaker yesterday for entering the assembly and disrupting the session.
