Kochi under bomb threat

bomb threatKochi: An unknown caller informed that a Bomb was planted at a watch showroom at Pioneer towers near the busy Menaka junction.The Kerala Police is tracking the person who made the phone call.

A Ananthalal, Sub Inspector of Central Police station told that the caller had also revealed that bombs will go off at Delhi and Mumbai simultaneously. The call came at around 9.55 a.m. to the BSNL and Airtel landline numbers of the showroom.

Police teams rushed to the spot. Anti-sabotage teams of the bomb detection and disposal squad conducted check on the premises. Mr. Ananthlal said that efforts were on to trace the call. Dog squads were also pressed into service at the venue.
