Malayalee nurse murder:Relatives raise finger at hospital authorities

nurses murder: rosamma Mumabi: The hospital authorities have a hand in the suspicious death of Malayalee nurse Rosamma Antony, alleges her relatives. They stated that they have reasons to believe that she was murdered. Malayalee nurse Rossamma Antony who was working as a staff nurse in Golden Park Hospital was found dead in her flat at Berambur in Vasai on April 4th.  The police stated that the victim was probably killed during a robbery attempt.

The victims face was covered in wounds and was disfigured. Her body was burnt at several places with an iron box.The inspector investigating the nurses death said that they had not found any suicide note and that they would be able to confirm the cause of burns only after further investigation. Ornaments and money were found to be missing.

Rosamma Antony who hails from Pulangkunnu, Alappuzha had been working in the hospital for the past 16 years. Her son who returned from college found her dead in the flat and informed the police. Last September Rosamma had bought 10 cents of land and a house at Kuttanad and had expressed her desire to conduct the housewarming ceremony at the earliest.

Lalimma a close relative of the victim believes that estranged and sour relations with her hospital colleagues and hospital staff could be the cause of her death. Rosamma is known to have been stern and strict at work which was not liked by many. A close relative Father Lijo Thomas who has arrived at Mumbai said that he believes that the murder was committed by someone in the medical filed and who was closely associated to her.

The culprit is said to have attempted to wash away the fingerprints and bloodstains with a lotion.  A team of five policemen are investigating into the case. Her mobile phone that was robbed is switched off and the police is attempting to trace the mobile and the call list.
