Mujhse Fraaandship Karoge'Mumbai: ‘Mujhse Fraaandship Karoge’ with a complete fresh cast and crew will hit the silver screens today. India’s First facebook movie could become a trend setter in India. The film produced by Y-Films, a tributary to the mother company Yash Raj Films, stars Saqib Saleem as Vishal Bhatt, Saba Azad as Preity Sen, Nishant Dahiya as Rahul Sareen and Tara d’Souza as Malvika Kelkar.

All the protagonists are inexperienced including the debutant director Nupur Asthana. The film revolves around social networking sites which are primarily dominated by the youngsters. The story opens with a bunch of college kids who are experiencing the weirdness of adolescence in an environment which is both liberal and high on hopes.

The film explores the desires of the youth which get reflected through their facebook status. The protagonists are itself divided into two different groups. The first group includes Rahul and Mavika who have good looks, great fan following and all that is desired by the youth today.  Vishal and Preity form the second group who are creatively brilliant but are introverts and socially awkward. They create facebook accounts and start using fake id’s. This results in a whole lot of commotion and complexities as their lives intertwine.

Probably the idea behind taking all new faces in the film was that the film revolves around social networking sites which are primarily dominated by the youngsters, and most of the prominent faces of the Bollywood have already crossed that age limit to be called teens.
