Mullaperiyar: TN understands Kerala’s apprehensions

Oommen ChandyThiruvananthapuram: Kerala Chief Minister stated that Tamil Nadu is finally understanding the gravity of the situation and the apprehensions of the people. Kerala’s stand has brought about a change in Tamil Nadu, he added. According to the Chief Minister Kerala’s apprehensions and demands are not based on emotions but on imperial evidences and facts. There is a change in Tamil Nadu’s emotional reaction.

Kerala seeks the path of dialogues as the state is keen on maintaining good relations with the neighbouring state. The Tamilian’s have realized that Kerala’s needs are just. Kerala’s claims are true and factual. The Chief Minister stated that he is optimistic about reducing the water level to 120 feet. He also said that he hoped Tamil Nadu would extend all its support and back the Kerala governments decision.
