Muslim League not to be merged

muslim League New Delhi: State and national Muslim league will not merge. In a State executive meet held today to discuss the merger, both the parties arrived at a consensus to refrain from merging. Instead of merging, IUML and Kerala State Muslim League have decided to inform the Election commission that both the parties are the same.

Today before the League  met at Delhi Constitution Club for the executive meet a meeting was organized at Kunhalikutty’s room at Delhi Kerala House . After recieving legal advice on the issue the decision was arrived at.

According to the legal advisor the “ladder” symbol would be lost if both the parties merge. A show cause notice was sent by the Election Commission to the league leadership, based on a complaint that questioned E Ahmed’s candidature.
