Oommen Chandy not an accused in palmolein case

oomen-chandyThrissur: There is no evidence against Chief Minister Oommen Chandy with regard to his involvement in the Palmolein case, according to the vigilance report. The further investigation report was submitted before the Trissur Vigilance court.   According to the report there isn’t sufficient evidence to make him an accused in the case.

The 90 page report was submitted by SP V N Saseedharan. More than 12 people were questioned in relation to the case. The case report was submitted before Judge V Bhaskaran. Earlier the case was handled by the Thiruvananthapuram Vigilance court. The Thiruvananthapuram court had asked for further probe into the case.
