Pathmanabhaswamy temple:SC questions questional royal family

supreme-courtThiruvananthapuram: The Supreme Court questioned the Travancore Royal family in connection with the ‘Devaprasnam’ conducted at Sree Padmanabha Swamy temple here to ascertain the divine will. The court expressed surprise when it was told that the expert committee appointed by it left the decision regarding opening the vault B of the temple to “Devaprashnam”.

The Court also enquired whether the Royal family had no trust in the Expert committee chairman. The apex court wondered, how could  the committee could outsource its decision.

The Royal family’s filed a petition against the opening of the temple vault “B”.
