Pillai’s call list includes Ganesh and Chennithala

balakrishna pillaiKochi: The police submitted the mobile phone call list of  former minister R Balakrishnan Pillai from May 12 to August 5, 2011. The call list includes a whole lot of dignitaries who contacted him on his personal number while he was undergoing imprisonment in the Edamalayar graft case.

The police submitted the list before the Additional Chief Judicial Magistrate Court. The names that surfaced in the list of 754 incoming calls include Ganesh Kumar, KPCC president Ramesh Chennithala, NSS General Secretary G Sukumaran Nair, Chief Minister’s political secretary Vasudeva Sharma, Chief Secretary, Kodikunnil Suresh MP, T Balakrishnan IAS, Eranakulam range IG, Kollam SP and  Punaloor DYSP.

The prominent names in the list of 410 outgoing calls include that of Kodikkunnil Suresh, Valsala Balakrishnan, Eranakulam Range IG, Kollam asst Police Commissioner, Vasudeva Sharma and Vaikom SI. As per the records Pillai had received calls from the premises of the Legislative Assembly. Pillai is also said to have made a call to Shivagiri Madam. Pillai has made 74 calls to Minister Ganesh Kumar’s staffs phone. He has also called his former personal staff Manoj.

The detailed report of Pillais calls record was submitted before the court based on the the petition submitted by social activist Joy Kaitharam. As per the petition a case has to be registered against all those who contacted him on his personal mobile.
