Sheila must resign:Gadgari







New Delhi-The BJP leader, Nitin Gadgare demands the resignation of Delhi Chief Minister Shiela Dixit over her involvement in the Common Wealth Games scandal. The BJP that indicts Shiela Dixit her for alleged irregularities in several common wealth games project launched a mass movement and held demonstrations at 30 places in and around Delhi as a part of the protest. Effigies of the Delhi Chief Minister were burnt as a part of the agitation.

The agitation is a reaction to the CAG report, tabled in Parliament on Friday, that cited her active involvement in the grant of  work incurring a loss of Rs 30 crore. The report slams Rs 500 crore loss on her her government.

The party will also hold a rally at Ramlila Maidan on August 9 to demand her dismissal while party workers will “gherao” Parliament on August 11 to press for her removal, Gupta said.

“We will not stop our agitation until the Chief Minister resigns,” said Delhi BJP chief Vijendra Gupta.
