Sachin, world’s first cricketer to make 15,000 runs

sachinNew Delhi: Sachin completed 15,000 runs in Test cricket during his knock in India’s second inning on Day 3 of the first Test against the West Indies at the Feroz Shah Kotla in New Delhi. Sachin achieved the feat after driving a Devendra Bishoo delivery to extra cover and taking a single to take his score to 28 off 76 balls.

Sachin got to the mark in his 182nd Test and 300th inning. He is the highest run getter in Tests as well as ODI cricket and the man behind him in the Test list is the batsman who was at the crease when the maestro reached the milestone – Rahul Dravid. Dravid is still more than 100 short of 13,000 runs.

Now the world is busy waiting for Sachin Tendulkar to slam his 100th international hundred.
