Sneha shown the door

kochadiyanChennai: Tamil Superstar Rajinikanth’s next, Kochadaiyaan seems to be throwing up surprises every other day. It’s been only a few days since the reported leading lady Katrina Kaif was replaced by Deepika Padukone. Now Sneha, who was roped in to play Rajinikanth’s sister in the film has been replaced by another Bangalore girl Rukmini Vijayakumar, who made her Kollywood debut with Arjun Sarja’s Bommalattam. Confirming the news, Rukmini says, “Yes, I am playing Rajini sir’s sister in the film.

The director of the film, Soundarya Rajinikanth approached me with the offer a few days ago and I immediately agreed. I had no clue about Sneha being a part of the film earlier.” Quiz Rukmini why she is not seen in films more often and pat comes the reply. “I worked in Kollywood for a year and a half (Bommalattam and Ananda Thandavam), but I do not want to do films back-to-back. I am just trying to squeeze in time for films between my dance recitals,” says the Bharatanatyam dancer.
