Sonia’s message to Anna

sonia gandhi Uttrakhand: UPA Chairperson Sonia Gandhi broke her silence on the controversial anti-corruption bill. She asserted that the Prime Minister is committed towards a strong Lokpal Bill. In her speech which was read out to the crowd by Defence Minister AK Antony, she said that corruption cannot be fought by speeches.

“Corruption cannot be fought by speeches, so I don’t understand why this noise,” Sonia said in her speech which was read out at Karanprayag rally in Uttrakhand which she was unable to attend it as she was suffering from a sudden bout of fever. “Our Prime Minister has already said that the government is committed to passing a strong Lokpal Bill in Parliament…so I don’t understand why this noise?” she said.
