VS apprehensions are immature: HC

High-courtKochi: A division bench headed by Acting Chief Justice Manjula Chellur observed that Opposition Leader VS Achuthananthan’s apprehensions regarding the progress in the ice cream palour case were highly immature. This statement was made while dismissing a petition filed by Mr VS Achuthananthan seeking an evaluation of the progress in the ice cream palour case.

The Government today informed the Kerala High Court that the probe in the Kozhikode ice cream parlour case will be completed by December 22. Advocate General K Dandapani, who appeared for the government told the court that investigation in the case is progressing and so far 22 persons have been questioned. The court stated that there was no need to consider Mr VS Achuthananthan’s petition. Advocate Rajinder Sachar, presented the petition on behalf of leader VS Achuthananthan.
